What I experienced and felt at FSA

During this FSA, I visited various places. I was particularly impressed by the view from the top of Diamond Head in the photo above and Waikiki Beach in the photo below. Both had a unique atmosphere that can only be experienced in Hawaii.

In addition, I was able to enjoy meals unique to Hawaii. I mainly ate loco moco and pancakes. You can eat it Japan, but eating in Hawaii made it feel even more special. At this FSA, of course, I was able to learn a lot about Hawaii at the University of Hawaii, but I was also able to experience many things that I would not be able to do in my daily life. At first, I was very worried about whether I would be able to keep up with the classes in this project, but when the FSA actually started, the professors at the University of Hawaii and the local people were all kind, and even if I couldn’t speak English fluently, if I had the will to communicate well, they would listen to me even if the words were wrong. In addition to taking classes in the classroom, I felt that there were still many things I didn’t know about Hawaii by actually going to various beaches, wind farms, garbage collection stations, etc., how they worked, what kind of problems they are currently having, and so on.
